Also wanted is Bayern Munich's French midfielder Franck Ribery, with Wigan winger Antonio Valencia completing a trio of summer signings, report the News of the World.

While Ronaldo's desire to join Real is one of the worst kept secrets in football, Kaka has recently rejected a deal with the Rossoneri.

With current boss Carlo Ancelotti expected to join Chelsea in the summer, the club lie third in Serie A, some 13 points off first-placed Inter Milan.
